BRASIL & ARGENTINA (1958)
These liners for Moore-McCormack housed a most eclectic mix of art, anticipating the onboard collections of Holland America and Celebrity Cruises by decades. Booklets about the art on each ship were produced.
Built to replace their namesakes on the South America run, the Brasil and Argentina soon took to cruising. Laid up in 1969, they would soon serve under a variety of owners, including Holland America, until they were scrapped in the early 2000s.
